Calling on my military background as a sailor, a soldier,a Military spouse, and a Military Mayor and Command advocate at Fort Meade, Maryland in writing this very special lullaby of a song, and watching many, many Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps parents having to leave their children behind, it never failed to bring a tear to one's eyes.
