Song Description
NOTE: Many poets and songwriters will write new words to an old song, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is to the basic tune of an old Russian standard from the opera SADKO, by Nicolai Rimsky in 1898, a song that has been re-written probably more than any other song in history, best known in the US as SONG OF INDIA.

Lyrics
COCOON
I do appreciate your being here
But one day soon you know I'll disappear.
Into the mist,
I'll fly on butterfly wings.
I know you see someone you think is me.
But nothing's really what it seems to be,
and when I fly
I'll fly on butterfly wings.
Bright light.
Never ending white light.
All my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.
Highway.
Always going my way
I'll keep going my way, on butterfly wings.
Out there
I'll be going somewhere
and I'm going to get there, on butterfly wings
Bright light
never ending white light
all my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.
It's not that I don't care, you know I do.
And you can feel it, when I think of you,
and when I fly,
I'll fly on butterfly wings.
