Lyrics
BULLITZENBOMZ
My little girl, sheâ??s six years old
Sheâ??s just learning how to read
She looks up at me
And from a heart of gold I hear
â??Hey dad-whatâ??s nerve gas?â??
â?¦I say â?? oh oh â??
I told her that she was just too young
She said, â?? No Iâ??m not â??
So I gave it some thought
I say â?? ask your momâ??
She said â?? Hey dad-You know momâ??s not home.
I said, â??Come on Angelâ??
Just forget about this world and letâ??s sing a song or two
And we sang sha laâ??s and ba daâ??s and choo chooâ??s and dum-ditty dumâ??s
(thatâ??s right) sha laâ??s and ba daâ??s and choo chooâ??s and dum-ditty dumâ??s
Well later that night the inspiration came and I got my operator friend to connect me to my duly elected political representative and I set out to discuss military strategical oddities, namely that of chemical and biological warfare, terrorist activities and weapons of mass destruction, and I explained that what we need for everyone to all agree that we should limit aggressive activities to good old fashioned hand to hand combat, perhaps some guerilla warfare and bullets and bombs and, wellâ?¦he hung up.
So I grabbed my guitar
And wrote myself a little song about
Bullets and Bombs
Bullets and Bombs
I guess about a week had passed
I thought the air had cleared
I thought Iâ??d never hear another word about the gas
When one day
Well, you know what goes around comes around
My little girl and I were singing songs
She said, â??You know I like this one
but can we sing that song about the Bullitzenbomz?â??
She said, â??Please dad! -Bullitzenbomz!â??
I said come on Angel
Just forget about the world and letâ??s sing a song or two
And we sang sha laâ??s and ba daâ??s and choo chooâ??s and bullitzenbomz
(Thatâ??s right) sha laâ??s and ba daâ??s and choo chooâ??s and bullitzenbomz
Sha la sha la sha la sha la sha laâ??s
Ba das ba da ba da ba da ba daâ??s
And bullitzenbomz
Bullitzenbomz
