A throwback to the 80's ballad. Structured perfectly with the hook nicely placed. The "thanks" are the real hook here...great lines that I don't believe I've ever heard before. "Thanks for giving me this sorrow...thanks for giving me this pain...cos' now I know my heart is hollow..it will never hurt again" Nice.
A wonderful lost love song. Has a wonderful transition from the A to B sections. Has a unique blend of piano and synthesizers, and the percussion is very well balanced in this song. The percussion keeps the song moving, but doesn't overpower the rest of the instruments. The song is unique, and the lyrics convey the sadness of the deserted loved one.
