Story Behind The Song

I began composing this piece during a student's piano lesson. I had been improvising around a few chords and some of those ideas became prevalent. I then realized that the music reminded me of my wife and her overwhelming and needed effect on my life.

Song Description

The Chaconne is scored for solo piano and orchestra. It is a set of character variations employing not only contemporary harmonies but modern rock and jazz melodic lines.
