Story Behind The Song
I met Michelle at a gig and invited her to the studio after hearing her perform. She recorded another song but it gave me an idea to merge a different hook with the song she had written.
After recording the original song we recorded the new idea during a different session after I had recorded the background vocal hook. I then asked Lisa to perform the lead vocals. After Lisa did a killer vocal track Eddie came out and recorded the lead guitar parts. I spent a ton of time sequencing the drums, playing the bass etc and getting the vocal blend just right for the 4 part background vocals. Everyone did a great job!
