Story Behind The Song
This was another crack at writing a country song. The origins of this song started back in 1998 with a different melody but after listening to Jimmy Nail?s ?Cowboy Dreams? I just felt inspired to write a country song. The rest, as they say, is history?

The Last Man Standing

VERSE ONE:
Living in a world where innocence is lost
It?s never easy when you have to count the costs
Until I knew that I was running blind
I was standing here trying to find the sign
CHORUS:
And I will be the last man standing
Long before the tide will ever turn
And I will be the last man standing
Knowing there?s so much for me to learn
VERSE TWO:
I have always known the road ahead for me
It?s the road that takes you where you wanna be
The choice is up to you to make
Don?t go changing the road you have to take
REPEAT CHORUS
VERSE THREE: INSTRUMENTAL
REPEAT CHORUS TO END
