Song Description

The Bible, in the book of Genesis, describes the presence of two very important trees in the Garden of Eden - the Tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. God told the first man (Adam) and the first woman (Eve) that they could eat from any tree in the garden except the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve disobeyed, ate from the tree and thus caused God to curse them as well as the entire earth. He later came to earth in human form (a man known as Jesus, or in His own language, Jeshua) and died in order to pay the price for man's disobedience - and not just for Adam and Eve, but for all people for all time. The book of Revelation states that those who trust that Jesus's death will pay for all their wrong doing will eventually be allowed to eat from the Tree of Life in a new Garden of Eden which Jesus (who came back to life 3 days after he died) will create.Two Trees tells this story and centers on the role of these two significant trees.
