Story Behind The Song
First I had to get my heart ripped out of my chest and stomped all over. That was the easy part. Then I had to try to write a song about it. A tad trickier. Eventually this music fell out of my brain/heart/spleen. Then I added some lyrics, which the careful listener will notice are not in this version. But it does have lyrics, as you can see. And I will upload that version once I can get my vocal cords to cooperate.
Song Description
A bittersweet and melancholy ballad about lost love. I thought I'd pick a topic that no one's ever written about before.

Lyrics
The sun is sinking low in the evening sky
You drive away we don't say goodbye
I watch your taillights disappear
And then it's all so very clear
There'll be no turning back now
This time we fade to black now
I don't know what the hell we were tryna do
Don't even know if our love was true
Was it really you and me
Or who we thought we oughta be
I would not hesitate now
I'd do it all today now
I wanna hold you close for a million years
Replay the days before all the tears
But all I have are in memories
They hurt so bad they comfort me
The sun will rise again now
But I can't tell you when now
