This piece was written on a cold, clear day in January , while I was falling in love, after I saw swans swimming slowly on a sunlit pond on the shore road from Falmouth to Woods Hole, Massachusetts.

Song Description

"Winter Sun at Nobska" is heavily influenced in structure and feel by the music of Bela Bartok and Claude Debussy. The solo harmonica has a flute-like sound, clean and clear.
