Story Behind The Song

My arrangement is inspired by Ry Cooder's version of "Billy The Kid" from "Into the Purple Valley" (1970). My version imagines Billy in the places and scenes of his time, and it explodes into solo harmonica rock and roll as Billy's end nears.

Song Description

"Billy The Kid" is a modern solo harmonica arrangement of the traditional cowboy song. It's a mini-epic, played without overdubs.
