Story Behind The Song
Originally a rockabilly song, something in the woodshedding of the tune just wasn't working. That's when Boylamayka grabbed the guitar, turned off all the lights in the practice studio and said LISTEN. That's how this bluesy dark drinking song was born.
Song Description
A band is hanging out at their local bar before their show and the lead singer flirts with the barmaid, and imagines the stories behind the other bar regulars. By the end of the song you're not sure if the band is going to end up performing or just becoming some of the regular barflys.

Lyrics
Well set em up we'll knock em down
And this old old world it keeps spinnin round
So set em up we'll knock em down
And this old old world keeps spinnin round
Well the barmaid, in a black wife beater
She's got long hair and I'm so glad to meet her
yea I'm so glad to meet her
she's got those drinks in her hand
and goddamn we'll knock em down
Well old Joe, he's at the bar
yea he always is
he's got his whiskey in his hand and he's drinkin from a jar
Well old Joe, he's at the bar
And he's ready to go when we are
goddamn we're ready to go
Well we're the band, we're here to charm you
And we just might drink enough ya know we kinda disarm ya
yea we're the band, we're here to charm you
So get your drink in your hand and we'll knock em down with ya
oh yea
so set em up and we'll knock em down
yea this old old world it just keeps spinning round
so set em up and we'll knock em down
cuz you know this old old world it just keeps spinnin spinnin round
yea it just keeps spinnin round get me a drink
