Story Behind The Song
This song was based in part on the theories of Carl Jung and in part on a friend of mine that is amazing but seems to often trigger jealousy from others.
Song Description
I?ve never understood why people compete with those closest to them. I have observed individuals who never question the success of people they don?t know but feel a strong sense of jealousy when those closest to them succeed. This song was written as advice for a good friend of mine.

Lyrics
Believe
I told you that they were probably just insane?psychos looking for a trigger and they?re ready to aim.
But when the lights go down and you?re still shining through, it makes them so jealous, they?re all so jealous, so jealous of you.
Don?t turn around for fear of what you might see, keep looking forward, stay a little naïve cause? it helps you believe?
And we all want to believe?
The sound of their pathetic little words?left a lot to be desired and too much to be heard.
Then the lights went down and you were still shining through, it made them so jealous, they?re all so jealous, so jealous of you.
Don?t turn around for fear of what you might see, keep looking forward, stay a little naïve cause? it helps you believe?
Synchronicity, can you liberate a soul? Help us to find peace so that we can finally be whole.
And when the lights go down, you?ll still be shining through and they?ll be jealous but, I?ll be happy, cheering for you.
I believe in you my friend, I believe in you.
Don?t turn around for fear of what you might see, keep looking forward, stay a little naïve cause? it helps you believe
And we all want to believe?
