Story Behind The Song

The melody came to me in a burst of inspiration shortly after Twenty One Pilots released their single "The Line". I quickly built onto it, finding that the phrase "I'll tell you lies" fit extremely well in the context. after that, I just built onto it more until it became this demo. The song can be interpreted many ways, but the way I uncovered it, it is about the voices in my head telling me lies and encouraging me to listen to them, as I am a diagnosed borderline paranoid schizophrenic.

Song Description

This song is an accumulation of life experience and lore that has yet to be revealed. The song is intended to be an opener for an album or show, perhaps both. It features an almost hair-raising, panicked but inspiring synth line that morphs between its subdued and distorted form. The song can be interpreted many ways, but the way I uncovered it, it is about the voices in my head telling me lies and encouraging me to listen to them. I believe the best use of this song would be for the opening theme for a show, or something related to that.
