Lyrics

Chorus
I need to write a Hit Country Song
Saving for retirement went all wrong
Living on retirement won't last me long
Unless I write a Hit Country Song

Verse 1
Money can't buy happiness that's what they say
So I took advice and bought a boat
Instead of saving money for retirement day
The boat I bought wouldn't stay afloat (To Chorus)

Verse 2
I wanted to buy something that would grow in worth
So I took advice and bought meaningful dirt
I thought I'd be starting a new life on earth
But environmental hazards cause me to hurt (To Chorus)

Verse 3
People say there's something about a truck
I saved up my money for a couple of years
I bought a fancy truck that would bring me good luck
But it got hit by a guy drinking beer (To Bridge)

Bridge
I hope this song is the next big hit
I should of saved my money for retirement
I followed the advice of other country hits
Now I can't afford to even pay the rent (To Chorus)
