TRUE STORY! - After a series of bad weather during a month long tour, tornadoes hitting during performances, rain, wind storms,hurricanes- cancelled gigs, floods, my car being broken into, my cat getting sick, my roof leaking.... I travelled to Santa Fe for a break and to write some new music. Over a dinner of Chinese food with my producer Larry, I shared my continuous misfortune. The waitress brought our check and two fortune cookies. Larry's fortune was standard " and it read- "good luck always 4-6 - 21...blah blah, blah- .......My cookie HAD NO FORTUNE! So I ran to my room and wrote this song...LUCKY!
