Story Behind The Song
Whilst I think it is wrong to judge anyone I find myself judging too. Having thought about that I felt a little guilty and found myself wondering if I would be a better person for not doing so. I thought it would be a good idea to write about this and the struggles with the mind to overcome that thought process and being the better person. I find most of us are all kind of programmed into judging anyone and any situation as a defence mechanism in today's society.
Song Description
This song is about having a first impression on anything or anyone for that matter. The whole point in the lyrics though is trying to overcome that thought process and being able to see beyond that. For example, judging a homeless person without fully understanding there situation ie. mental illness, no family to support them, no money and no help from anyone more or less. Judging how one may appear etc. Although these are a couple of way's of having a first impression, the song is about judging any situation.
