Story Behind The Song
I was attending a program in Denver featuring Prem Rawat one year. Though I was part of a band that played at programs, we weren't part of the line-up this time. Still, I brought my guitar with me. I'd play it back in my room after each night of the four-night program. On the last night, there was some magic in the guitar, and the chord pattern and song title came out. I fleshed it out and finished the song when I got back home.

Lyrics
THE CREATOR
(Papageorge)
VERSE#1:
THE CREATOR came to the earth one day
But only a few would stay
To hear what he had to say
VERSE#2:
THE CREATOR said, "All of my creatures are dear
And my love for them is sincere
But only a few come near"
Bridge:
"The beauty of life is living
And knowing the Source of all
That's what I'm here to be giving
But only a few hear me when I call"
VERSE #3:
THE CREATOR keeps giving life for free
He does it for you and for me
It's given so naturally
VERSE #4:
THE CREATOR is longing to be known
Calling us to come home
For even He doesn't like to be alone
(Repeat Bridge)
(Repeat last verse)
