Story Behind The Song
I had know the parents of this little girl named Meagan for many years,but has lost touch. Once reconnected they told me that I really needed to meet Meagan as she was a very special child. Meagan a very very rare form of Dystrophy and had many physical and mental challenges. I was afraid to meet her because I knew that she would tug on my heart strings and change me. Of course that is exactly what happened. This child that wasn't suppose to survive her 1st day actually lived 11 years and died one day before her 12th birthday. She truely was an angel on earth. This family has endured so much as they lost Meagan's brother to the same disease at the age of 2. How can you not be changed by this?
