Story Behind The Song
September 11! I was in the gym and I saw the plane crash into the first tower and I thought it was a movie, until someone said that it was the news. This song came through my soul and out of my heart onto the pad of paper.

This song is about the tragedy of terrorism and how it can causes you to stop in your space and get to the point where you forget to breathing aka forget to live (basic succumb to fear). All I could do after 9-11 was ask myself what can I do? beside give money? What more can I do? Why would someone do something so horrendous? When will victims families, this country be able to breathe again?

Lyrics
What More Can I Do (Breathe Again)
Lyrics & Melody: Pamela Olivia
Music/Produced by: Jurmaine Scott
Verse
It's always hard to understand the man that would take another's life
To sit and contemplate a crime so great
Rob another of their rights
Can we make a change from grief and strife
To make a better life
Knowing joy will come, joy will come
With the morning light
Hook
What more can
What more can I do
For you
Tell me when will my heart mend from two
When will I breathe again
Verse
So much pain and hurt and sacrifice
Some have given their lives
To make the way and world a better place
Make day of darkest nights
Show a smile or say a special word
To strengthen those in need
Bring joy to those who shed a tear
And Happy to light
I know we can
Hook
Bridge
So tell me what can I do
To make you a better you
When You're in your darkest night
Will bring to light, joy in the morning light
