Story Behind The Song
This song is about a woman who tried to convince herself that she wasn't attracted to a certain guy at her workplace, even though she was. However, she forced herself to "let it go" because she was dating someone else at the time.
But before "letting it go," she had a blast chatting at the company party downtown in January'96 and on instant messaging (IM) at work!
This song is heavily influenced by Phantom Blue, The Runaways, and The Go-Go's.

Lyrics
Verse 1:
It's not about you anymore
Well, I can't close that door
No more headaches and cigarettes
I feel like I'm a mess
I don't love you anymore
Well, I can't close that door
All those tall, dark, features and...
You say in one breath
Chorus 1:
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Verse 2:
Should I take a second chance?
Or hold onto my stance?
No more lying and running away
What do you have to say?
Will it be like before?
Well, I can't close that door
All those tall, dark, features and...
You say in one breath
Chorus 2:
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
(Guitar Solo)
Chorus 3:
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
Wontcha be mine
Wantcha to be mine
