Lyrics

There once was a rabbit named Hippity Hop
Who had a slight problem. His right ear would flop
Other bunnies teased him and they never stopped
Poor Ol' Hippity Hop.... with the ear that...uhhh, flopped *he he he* *ahem* *ooops*

Well, it wasn't his fault that his ear would hang down
He could hop super fast and real high off the ground
And though this was so, the word in bunny town
Was that Hippity Hop was no good all around

Ahh yes, as you guessed, poor ol' Hop became sad
He searched for his friend Owl, cause he felt oh so bad
He said " hey,Owl" and the wise owl said "who"
He said "It's me Hop" and Owl said, "Oh, it's you"

I've been waiting for you. I knew you would come
And I know your reason for being so glum
They're calling you names like worthless and dumb
And you want to prove that you're really someone.

Well, Hop was amazed and confirmed what Owl said
But Owl also said "get this into your head."
They make fun of your ear and it tears you apart
But what really counts is what's inside your heart

Hop was chewing on wisdom (Owl's words) while nibblin' on grass
When a frightening sound brought him back really fast
He heard some screams and a big giant clap
Three bunnies were caught inside a hunters trap!

Well, it serves 'em right was Hop's primary thought
But a voice deep inside said "you know what Owl taught"
Yes, the bunnies were bad but Hop had to be good
So Hop planned to do what a good bunny should

Well Hop jumped like lightning over to the trap
He bit at the bars 'til he broke one in half
When the hunter returned to gather his prey
Thanks to Ol' Hop, Well, they all got away.

Yes, the bunnies felt bad for teasing poor Hop
And in honor of him, they too made an ear flop
Hop learned a good lesson, It'd be good to learn too.
If you have a good heart, there's a hero in you!
