Story Behind The Song
Standing on the shore of the ocean, watching the movements and listening to the sound of the waves, has a double effect on my being. In the one hand it soothes the pain of losing someone I love, as if the waves would wash away sorrow, but on the other hand I blame the waves for separating me from the one I've lost, but still love.
Song Description
When we lose for good someone we love, sorrow captures our soul. Whether it is because they've stopped loving us, or because of other circumstances (death, forced social, or religious traditions), the pain remains buried deep in our hearts. To keep in touch with them, we keep thinking about them, envision them, etc, and there are circumstances that can trigger, enhance and help remembering and thinking about those we've lost. We often seek to be in an environment that strengthen the process of remembering and thinking about them and that provides the private sphere that needed for that. Going to the shore of the ocean and listening to and watching the waves is a strong trigger for me to let my mind and heart open and feelings and memories flow.
