Story Behind The Song
My dear friend has just lost the love of his life. After hearing of his loss, this song bubbled up to the surface. His faith does not include reincarnation, while that of my wife and I does.
I was thinking about how much he loved her and how my wife and I feel about past lives;. This all contributed to the songs final form.
Hopefully, this can bring some solace to those suffering the loss of a loved one.

Lyrics
Our Next Time
W&M by Raymond T. Spagnuolo
In our next time, when we meet
hearts once broken will ignite
with such fire and such heat
from the joy of love replete
Loving soulmates whose romance
must await for next meeting's glance
for the beatings of such hearts can not bear to be apart
Chorus
When I see you again
I will wake, my heart on fire
You'll smile, you'll smile at me
My smile you'll see as I rise from my seat in a room among those in a crowd who know not of our love
Loving soulmates whose romance
must await for next meeting's chance
For the beatings of such hearts cannot bear to be apart
2nd Chorus
I saw you again and we smiled across that room
that's repeating each time we are near
in each lifetime where we start anew on this path towards that dream that we know we will share
3rd Chorus
When I see you again
I will wake my heart on fire
You'll smile, smile at me
My smile you'll see as I rise from my seat in a room in a crowd who know not of the love that we share
