'Love One Another' is written in that feeling of liberation, a lot of us felt, when Obama entered the stage in the prelude to the American presidential election 2008. Suddenly, it wasn't necessarily 'either you are with us or you are against us'. Shades in perception were allowed again, it seemed - or so it felt. The hawks had to give way and a new era would emerge. Exactly like 'Aquarius' in the musical 'Hair' predict it. History has showed, that it not yet is so much different, but the song remains and the message is the more urgent today.
