Story Behind The Song
The story is a personal one as producer Jere B's life and that of his family has been profoundly touched by the simple ministry of kindness that Corny McKnight exuded. A legacy left that is so uncanny, you'd think one were exaggerating. Each Person who knew Corny was made to feel as if he/she was his personal 'favorite friend' and each were shocked when over 3500 people showed up at this simple man's funeral to pay their respects. As he was not a celebrity. politician,or person of wealth, Corny's family simply had no idea the impact he had made on so many.
This song is an appeal that we all could take a moment to impact someone else.
Song Description
Corny McKnight was a man who truly loved everyone he met, regardless of race, culture or creed. He dedicated his life to pouring into others through his kindness, leadership and mentoring.
In 2009, he died of pancreatic cancer, but not before leaving an, incredible lasting impression upon every Doctor, Nurse and Patient who Met Him.
Corny's legacy is to simply be kind and touch a life.
