Story Behind The Song
Wyatt wrote the music to this song. It started out as an idea for an all acoustic song but when I heard him play it I heard the power capable in it and knew it had to be a rock song. I took the music and wrote lyrics to it and the song came together nicely. One of my favorite's we have written.

Lyrics
So I was thinking that maybe you could stay with me baby cause I can't be alone tonight
And maybe we'll just close our eyes, make believe that it's alright and we'll curse the morning light
Because this ship just isn't sturdy we were never made to last, we're sinking as we speak
Well you can stay here and drown but I will look for higher for ground cause no one can stop this leak
Chorus
And I'm gone away
I was never made to stay
I'm gone away
And I can't it back there just ain't no other way
I'm done falling in and out of love with you
And where I'll go I just don't know but I know I gotta roll right on down the road
She's probably sitting there crying while I tell another lie and I get where I need to go
