Story Behind The Song
Basically a song about the breakup of our Band after our firs Tour of the Southwest US which was a struggle for all of us.
I decided to turn it into a "Love Gone Wrong" breakup song about a relationship that was just over, and nothing could be done to change that fact, even though so many feeling and thought and abandoned dreams remained. The emotions don't understand "facts" well nor do they adapt to them or let go easily, but there is beauty in sadness.
Song Description
Inspired by the 60's and 70's rock I loved, and discovered "new" during the "metal rock" area of the 80's. Derek and the Dominos, Allman Brothers, Traffic, CCR, CSN, Neil Young, Cream, Blind Faith, Jesse Colin Young, etc.
