I think it is GREAT! And that is high praise, since I am a country music songwriter!!

Quality players and tune. Fun, funky and tasteful.

I wish there were better Song Analysis points because it seems I gave a rather "eh" review of the song, when I really enjoyed it. I thought the song structure was excellent. The song kept me interested and moving throughout most of the song. Some of my favorite songs are those that I initially didn't like or understand. This song started out that way. It took a little while for me to get into it, but when I got it, I really got into it. As they say, the deeper the emotion, the greater the catharsis. I think the reason I wasn't really feeling it was I wasn't able to clear distinguish between the sections. However, by the time I got to the third chorus, I started singing along. I thought this was very clever on the songwriting part. If the chorus wasn't as repetitive in the melody and lyric, then I don't think I would have been able to latch onto to any part of the song. But since it was, I was able to feel a part of the song, and be able to sing it by the time it was finished. I thought that was exceptionally well done. I'm going to remember that: if there isn't a big change between the production of the verse and chorus, the make sure the chorus melody is very repetitive, in a good way. I noticed you guys added some background harmonies in the chorus, but that wasn't enough initially for me to realize "this is the chorus" because many songs use harmonies these days to either add energy to the versus or the pre-chorus. I also was expecting the chorus to feel like a chorus initially, and because I didn't, it took me a while to get into the song. But, as I said, given the repetitive nature of the chorus, by the end of the song, I was completely satisfied. I wouldn't want to change a thing. Continuing on the song structure, I thought the guitar solo was well placed. It allowed me to take a break form the vocals and accept hearing another verse. I also liked the movement of the written guitar part, the hard-right panning of the guitar solo, and the left-panned delay of the guitar track. I also really enjoyed the rap-style bridge. This again took me on a mini vacation, and I was ready to hear the chorus again by the end of the song. The songwriting and song structure is very solid in this song. Well done.
