Story Behind The Song

Song was inspired by a little old man in our community who made his living picking up aluminum cans. I nicknamed him "Recycle Michael" when I wrote the song.

Encourages environmental clean-up as a worthy occupation, promotes recycling in the home, motivates kids to get involved in recycling.
