Cool intro, drums sound good for programmed sounds. Nice recording of the guitar, sounds classic but fresh. Rhythm tracks are also pleasant to listen to. Nice melodies. By the second listen through I was able to hear the arrangement better. A little reminiscent of the 60's surfer phase so if you were going for that, you mailed it.

Well I don't know where you get the idea that this is wrong, but it sounds like a great country instrumental. So not trying to rate it based on the genre rock I think that this song has some pretty good potential in background music for almost anything that has to do with country. The guitar sounds great I like the the train, the instrumentation is all suited for the song and I think you can easily put vocals over this song if you have not already then sell in another version.
