I don't listen to Rap, so it is hard for me to comment on the latter portion of the composition, but the sentiment in the song is truly heart felt and honest!! All extremely convincing and believable....and that is what Great Music is all about!! Keep up the wonderful work and let's hear more.........

I really like the vocals, they sound very professional - I liked the message as well.
I love the message of the song. I like the changes from the opening female vocal section to the male rap middle section, and then back to a repetitive female vocal. The repetitive 3 note motif throughout the song gives it a haunting, hypnotic quality. This is extremely powerful as it continues in the rap section.

I chose to do a random review just to get out of my own comfort zone. I'm not a regular listener to this type of music, so I don't know the exact genre it would fall under. My best guess is R&B.
As for the song itself, I thought it was very well done. Your vocals are clean, clear, and in tune. The music is solid, well produced, and unique.
This is so close to a 5 that it just must be a 5 ven thought the average does not show it. This beat is so captivating. I love the vocalist, and then the "rap comes in at a perfect time, and guess what I can understand every word he says. This is important, and we need a lot of and more of these kinds of songs and performances. I really like it. Wish I had this girl singing backup in some of my own songs
Well this is very good. Starts excellently, lovely intro and synths matching with the smooth vocals, very reminiscent of Mary J Blige. Vocals are excellent. Beat kicks in nicely and just at the right time. Harmonies are excellent. Rap section comes in perfectly as well. Overall this is excellent, great job. Top marks for you!
Nice groove and feel. I appreciate the positive message as well. The intro pulled me in which is always a good thing and what it's supposed to do. The vocalist brought a lot of emotion to the track. I was surprised by the rap but it wasn't out of place. It's got a real nice gospel vibe on it but could survive in the R&B market with no problem.
This isn't something I'd look out for but I found myself drawn in and carried with the feel and groove of the song. I really like the use of the background voices.Good work I like it!

A good solid balad surrounding a rap break with strong social comment. Warm singer backed by some well-chosen guitar phrases. The rain image brings out the bleakness of the song.

This song feels like a conversation in a quiet room on a day when something big happened. Positive message for the most part. Very good singing and strong rap presence. The slow air was filled up with an energetic landscape. Sweet guitar and the other instruments were appropriately subtle. "And we gotta be Godly although we cant be Him." Key.
