Lyrics
THE MAJOR
The Major was wounded
While fighting in the war
So they sent him home
Where he lived in a mansion on his own
Where no-one could disturb him
Chorus
The whiz boom bang of the German bombs
Crept into the Major's brain
The sad refrain of Lily Marlene
Drove the Major insane
The Major turned his house
Into a hall by using dynamite
To blow down all the walls
He barred up all the windows and the doors
So that no-one could disturb him
Chorus
The Major decided to blow up
His neighbours house one night
And that's when they came
To take him away
The Major gave the doctors
A life of hell
Until he blew up his cell
He blew himself up as well
Now no-one can disturb him
Chorus
