Story Behind The Song
Out of all the tunes on the record this is one of the oldest. I think I wrote this around 2002. I just decided to try my hand at a simple c&w tune. probably the hardest thing to do, you need to stick to the point and not get long winded. Something I don?

Lyrics
You said you?d love me forever more, then I came home you?d
changed the locks on all the doors.
Excuse me for asking, but I?m a bit confused, yesterday you loved me and now I?m just old news, tell me
How can love be so right?then be so wrong
I?ve always been faithful and baby that?s no lie.
No wanderlust, not a gleam in my eye
Excuse me for asking, did you find somebody new? What did he promise I did not already do? Tell me
How can love be so right and then.. be so wrong.
I guess I?ll paint my front porch, maybe buy a new suit of clothes
Try and tell everybody that?s just how it goes.
Life is a mystery full of answers I can?t know, I try to act cool but my confusion probably shows, tell me
How can love be so right and then be so wrong
