Story Behind The Song
This is a song sort of in the vein of Savage Republic's song "Film Noir", a sort of dark sound which was used in Manchurian Candidate. Philip Drucker was a founding member of the original band and later formed Del Rey & The Sun Kings, a progressive rock band. He has written several original silent film scores with this feel.

Lyrics
It's a scene I've seen so many times before
I brace myself as I open the door
Two more victims lying on the floor
Blood doesn't lie
He's placed the bodies neatly in a row
Wash their hair dressed them in new clothes
Though there's silence I hear a scream
Blood doesn't lie
In a room still farther down the hall
Sitting on her bed between her doll
She's staring at the wall with empty eyes
Blood doesn't lie
