Song Description
Call it perfect timing. A chance meeting in January 2008 between Marty and Finn, who was visiting Vancouver from London UK, where they connected over music and being both at the time sorrowfully down on their luck, became a lifelong musical partnership. Working at the hallowed halls of Blackbird studios in Nashville (the Killers, Greta Van Fleet, Willie Nelson and Kings of Leon) Finn was able to craft and produce "Sticks Like Snow" with the help from members of the searing Alt Rock legends Goodbye June. He presented it to Marty to add vocals in Vancouver with friend JP Maurice at the engineering helm and excitement builds to show the world their take on a universal Christmas single with themes of love and loss and grief and memory. It kinda makes you wish for a bit of egg nog, mistletoe, warm blanket and a black and white Christmas movie.
