Story Behind The Song
From the artist on the bonus version of this track:
"As a singer, an actor, a writer, a designer of special events. I also love to write songs, and many, many years ago, my wife talked me into buying a house, talked us into buying a house. I kind of bought it kicking and screaming in a, in a little town called Stockbridge, Massachusetts. We moved into this house. We had already gutted it. It was, I don't know, a couple of weeks before the pandemic started. We moved out of the city. We moved out of Piermont, and the next thing I know, we're sitting in a house with one working bathroom, no bathroom doors, no kitchen cabinets, no dishwasher, and we figured it out.
And, and one of the best parts is my wife also talked me into a, a, a dog. Billy is a, is a, is a Cavapoo, a King Cavalier Spaniel and Poodle mix, the most loving animal. And I've never had one of my own. And it's just this whole house, this whole place, this whole, I don't know, cross section of the world is, is, is warm and musical and theatrical and everything and more that I, that I ever thought it could be. It's really just a perfect place.
And this particular tune, "Stockbridge," is for you."
