Story Behind The Song

Many people go down a path in life only to end up where they don't want to be or being forced to be someone they never intended, drugs, crime, etc. Some of these lifestyles are very destructive to the health and well being of the individual and their families. This song is an attempt to capture that desperation when the lifestyle decisions start to take over.

Song Description

A young man sings about pending consequences for his past actions and decisions. He wonders how he can get out of this life he has made and find a way to live the life he really wanted all along. He notices that all of his friends are in the same situation they just don't know it. He is desperate to find a solution and ultimately breaks down and begins to pray even though he doesn't know how to pray or to whom he is praying but he's desperate and willing to try.
