Lyrics
Once upon a holiday
I wrote a winters song.
Played it for a friend of mine-
he would not sing along.
He said his heart was broken
all he had were silent screams
from slicing up his feet
upon the shards of broken dreams.
I said you should put on your shoes
but he just walked away
to drift into obscurity,
he threw the song away.
We dont speak any longer
now he has a narrow view
from turning into his father
now he sings the Boomer blues.
Oh Oh.
