Story Behind The Song
Watching a friend struggle with leaving a relationship. Knowing it is the right move for her & noticing how she loops around & around in the story of how she can't move forward is just a way of staying stuck.
I was moved to try to encourage her through reminding her that she was smart & clear & that there are benevolant forces in the universe "have her back"
Song Description
Encouraging someone who's been "stuck" with losts of excuses around their situation that they should basically cut their losses & go forward.
The song aims to inspire by reminding the person that they already know all they need to know & are poised for good things with the support of the universe behind them.

Lyrics
"Move On"
copyright Lisa Jane Lipkin
For someone with so much to say you're awfully quiet
You're holding the big idea but you don't try it
Digging in the same old dirt for the same old thing
Lift up your head and you might hear tomorrow sing
Look up...Move on
You know all you need to know
Pick up your sweet things and go
What've you got to lose come on and tell me
It's old and tired news you try to sell me
You say that you've been hurt, I see that's true
But truths be told you've done some hurting, too.
Chorus
Follow the sun, follow the stars, follow the wind
Follow the moon, follow your heart, follow the wind
Follow the sun, follow the stars, follow the wind
Follow the moon, follow your heart, follow the wind
Jump on in the stream and let it take you
Let it roll you once or twice, it won't forsake you
Open your eyes to seek and ye shall find
Nothing you're looking for has been left behind
