Story Behind The Song
The song is a common theme...everyone needs an outlet. Mine is my street legal dirt bike. The kind those crazy city messengers use. The lyrics are true to the theme. The song was written in two parts. The melody and chord changes came to me while riding on the West Side Hwy in New York. The lyrics were written after that ride. So, the birth of the song took a day and after that was allowed to ferment for a week or two. After the band was well rehearsed, Off Again and several other songs off our CD were recorded in a day with only one or two takes.
Song Description
A soundtrack for a great motorcycle ride. The opening of Off Again is a nice biting and catchy as hell guitar melody that flows into a straight forward song form. The vocals are strong with no apologies for real singing. The drums, bass & rhythm guitar layout an infectious groove while the keyboards sprinkle some fairytale ambient backgrounds.

Lyrics
When Im tired
To do what Im told
I try to stop before I fold
I hold the grips and I turn that key
And Im off again
There is nothing like a ride
To sort things out
Ready for my future bout
I look down as the pavement whizzes by
And Im off again
Chorus:
Im off again
Im off again into another adventure in my mind
If I think
That Im immune
Well I always find out very soon
I hold the grips and I turn that key
And Im off again
If I think
That Im obliged
Well then I get up on and fly
I look down as the pavement whizzes by
And Im off again
