Story Behind The Song
The inspiration for the song Red Rocks stems from a trip we all took to Colorado in 2009. On that trip we visited the Red Rocks amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. This is by far one of the most amazing concert venues in the United States. It is rich in history and very intriguing. This is the site where U2 recorded "Under a Blood Red Sky." If you are ever near the Denver area, be sure and check out Red Rocks.

Lyrics
Mother nature
Built this place
It was first known as
the Garden of Angels
Amazing by day and beautiful at night
John Walker's Dream has been realized
Journey through the mountains To that majectic site
hear the music and take in the sights
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
Captivating
Best describes
The feeling you get
When you step inside
Amazing sounds and beautiful sights
walk around and take it all in
Journey through the mountains To that majectic site
standing spellbound as the music takes flight
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
Creation Rock,
the Seat of Pluto,
Stage Rock
and Under A Blood Red Sky
Easter Sunrise, the natives plight
We're headed out to the Red Rocks tonight
Here the great plains and Rockies collide
melodies drift into the sunset at night
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
We're headed out to Red Rocks tonight
