Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for a homeless shelter with my uncle in mind. If it wasn't for all my family taking care of him he would have been in one. The main theme is to empathize w/others.
Song Description
People want actual attention and love. Homeless or not, no one knows the troubles of the other person. It's best to sympathize & empathize w/them.

Lyrics
Won't walk past
Words & music written by: Leanette Lopez ©1997
Don't wanna dream unless it's real
Don't want to hurt unless I heal
Don't want to feel the pain of this old world
Don't wanna laugh unless I cry
Don't wanna live unless I die
Can't you see the pain through my eyes?
Chorus:
You ought to see the pain through my eyes
You ought to live your life through my life
You ought to walk in my shoes
And when I see you
I won?t walk past you
Don't want a house up on a hill
Don't want a car with sex appeal
All I need is some attention
Don't want silver bronze or gold
I don't want pity it's growing old
All I need is some affection
