Story Behind The Song
When I was undergoing aggressive chemotherapy for breast cancer, I awoke to hear my husband crying in the middle of the night. When I went to comfort him, I saw that he was asleep -- crying in his sleep. And so, I wrote this song to let him know everything would be all right, and that we could be each other's security blankets, woobies, through this excruciating time in our lives.
Song Description
When things get back, hold on to me tight. I'm your security blanket, baby -- your "woobie" -- and you're mine.

Lyrics
4. Woobie
Don't cry
It'll be all right
I'll be your woobie
Hold onto me tight
Don't fret
I'm not leaving yet
I'm holding my ground
Won't let this thing get us, I promise
Baby, baby you're my woobie
Baby, baby I'm yours, too
I don't want no other woobie
Baby, all I want is you
I'm here
I'm not going anywhere
Even though I'm scared
I'm not feeling any fear
With you
Standing by my side
The monster can't hide
Gonna slap it upside the head
Chorus
(Guitar solo)
