As a music synthesist, I like to create unexpected elements from unlikely audio samples- like a arpeggiating synth line from a reversed chopped up vocal.
This song is chocked full of these ideas, originality was key. As far as connecting to the listener, I purposely left the song ambiguous - to evoke many different emotions dependent on how that listener feels at that moment.
