Story Behind The Song

This track began as a live recording of a semi-traditional Jewish wedding ceremony held in Yosemite National Park. Samples were extracted from the wedding ritual as well as from the wealth of nature to be found in Yosemite. The babbling of a brook, the wind in the trees, the voice of the rabbi... a variety of elements were brought together to create this track.

Song Description

The track begins slowly, a babbling brook held up by a tinkling beat that plays on the corners of the mind. Then come the chants, the soothing vocals that blend seamlessly with a sacred beat. The beat builds, twirling in the moonlight, covering the dancers with its rhythm.
