I had started dating a guy who I wasn't super impressed with, but decided to give him a chance. He joined my band as lead guitarist and all of the bandmates wound up playing SO LOUD they drowned out my voice at our first show. I asked them to turn down the volume for our next show, but they gave me every excuse in the book as for why they couldn't/wouldn't. So, I broke up with both the band and the guy. I decided I need to surround myself with high quality (hi-fi) people
