this song is longer than a single release because it was a gift to my husband. However, it can easily be shorten by removing the chorus the second time and removing the instrumental "dance" guitar at the end.
I wrote this song as a gift to my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary. Many of the lyrics have specific meanings to our relationship over the years. For instance....the opening line refers to when I first met him. He was walking up the aisle, as an usher, at his sister's wedding to walk me to my seat. He took my hand and escorted me down the aisle. Three and 1/2 years later we were married!
