Story Behind The Song
Amber Rae:
So I wrote this song almost two years ago about this guy who had broken my heart more then once. Now with the help of a few amazing friends that song is the first I've had the pleasure of actually finishing. The person that the song is about is no longer and will never again be a part of my life. And though the song is no longer relevant its still not bad if I do say so myself. I will be releasing it soon enough! I cant wait for everyone to hear it!!

Lyrics
I miss you
But I shouldn't
I want you back
But it's wrong
I'm losing
My strength
But I'm trying
To hold on
Chorus
Your the only thing
I have to remember
That made me feel
Like I belonged
Next to you
I fit beside you
My heart on my sleeve
No it didn't take long
....to realize
Nothing lasts
Nothing stays the same
And everything I hoped for
Must have been in vain
Verse
My heart beats
Out of rhythm
It doesn't belong
In my chest
Trying to escape
This prison
Impossibilities
Feelings unexpressed
Chorus
Your the only thing
I have to remember
That made me feel
Like I belonged
Next to you
I fit beside you
My heart on my sleeve
No it didn't take long
....to realize
Nothing lasts
Nothing stays the same
And everything I hoped for
Must have been in vain
Bridge
I bet you'd be happy
To hear from me
But maybe just to say
I told you so
I thought I could be
So happy and alone
But like so many other times
I guess I was wrong
Chorus
Your the only thing
I have to remember
That made me feel
Like I belonged
Next to you
I fit beside you
My heart on my sleeve
No it didn't take long
....to realize
Nothing lasts
Nothing stays the same
And everything I hoped fork
Must have been in vain
Nothing lasts
Nothing stays the same
And everything I hoped for
Must have been in vain
