Who are you trying to fool my friend?

Putting your love and friends,
and family on the shelf

Not sure if that was smart
try to make a brand new start
Open up my aching heart
The sun shines on me

Why don't I see the brighter side?
Often times I have laid and cried
Putting all my dreams aside
If I only could have realized

Why didn't I just awake and see ,
the bigger part of me
Come back to that same ol used to be
Living with the bigger dream
Breaking away from my own boundaries
I finally am myself

I wish I hadn't taken so long for me, life half gone or so it seems

Maybe Time is still on my side.

But now its time to move along
